Hmm actually number 2 is in Indonesia too but in very very specific places. I'm a regular at a cafe in Jawa Timur (eastern Java) where we can leave laptops & bags for 10-15 minutes restroom/prayers break. But I'm not sure with phones 😂
On side note, I think Korean dont bother stealing phones cause for them it's cheap, local phones (Samsung) aren't a luxury. Here we think it's expensive cz of currency difference 😂 CMIIW t

What are these things like in your country? 👀 Explanation 👇
It’s my mom’s first time ever to Korea and here are some things she was surprised about 😆🇰🇷
1. Water is almost never free in Indonesian restaurants. A few specific places offer free hot tea. In Korea, water is self-service in most restaurants and cafes (fast food chains don’t normally have it), and side dishes, especially kimchi, are very common. You can also ask for more, for free!
2. You probably really shouldn’t leave your belongings unattended 😅 In Korea though, it’s common for people to leave phones, wallets, and bags on their tables unattended when they go to order or pick up food (or even go out for a while!) The trust in CCTV 🤌
3. I don’t think toilets are ever locked in Indonesia, and normally they’re never in a different building 😅 I was also very surprised about smart locks here, probably to avoid non-customers from using the toilet. I think once I forgot the number combination and had to go back to the restaurant to double
