Like, I saw in a street interview from Japan: in people's minds USA is a Hollywood movie, and Japan is an anime. And I would add Korea is a K-drama, Romania is full of vampires and all the fantasies from books about relationships are real.
Choosing to believe a fantasy is not anyone's fault, just yours.
There was also plenty of content showing both the good sides and bad sides of Korea, without exaggerating them. And I say it seeing such content during the rise of the Hallyu wave. It was people's choice to ignore them and romanticise the whole country.
And the trend of acting like that place is the worst place on Earth and Western cultures are better should just stop. Korea has its good and bad sides like any other country. And most of the things that are given as good examples often overlook the fact similar things existed in those countries way before the Hallyu wave started to have power.

As your girl visitor said, it’s not about ignoring the flaws of a society, but about being critical without being sensational. I follow kpc content regularly and I enjoy the positive attitude about Korea your channel offers, but I will admit that at times kpc shies away from the more controversial topics and often does not dig deep enough on the failures or successes of Korean society. One of the best work you have done was a video on the series Itaewon Class a few years ago in dkdktv. There you were informative and gave a lot of insight about the context of the series and the social issues it raised, without hiding from unpleasant issues. But maybe your reluctance to address certain topics head on is a fear of having people misinterpret your analysis and indirectly encouraging them to badmouth Korea.
From my part I would respectfully encourage you to have more of that Itaewon Class video approach. Show the facts and be informative and try to meet your Western viewership with objectivity. The downfall of your content is often you trying to justify somewhat regressive attitudes Korean people may have for us not to judge them, but you honestly do not have to do that work for us… We can do that work ourselves.
I don’t know if you will welcome this feedback. It is well intentioned. Perhaps you just need to start a more serious channel with Korean news and Korean people from all over the political landscape / spectrum discussing issues. Something I often wonder is: does the age hierarchy and respect system in the society allow for younger political candidates to roast older politicians?

Let's be honest, if it wasn't for BTS and kpop, a lot of foreigners wouldnt have found natural interest in visiting, let alone living in S. Korea. While I too became interested in S. Korea thanks to kpop and BTS, it veered into something remarkable and a yearning to really get to know these people and their culture and language. I have to admit, I do see how people would fall into the rose tinged glasses of kdramas, beautiful women and men and the incredible food, but not once had I thought of believing this one place would too be devoid of worldly problems and societal issues. S. Korea was shoved onto the World Stage and soared to becoming the "popular kid" damn near overnight, even taking Japan's spot as the new kid in town. It also doesn't help that even native Koreans know their homeland is sold on the premise of keeping face, so no one outside their walls know of the cracks in the infrastructure: from corrupt politics and their politicians, the Chaebols that truly run the country, the horrific dating scene (rape and dominance), the terrifyingly stacking suicide rate and lonely souls looking for companionship, keeping up with trends all the time and overall shady secrets that lead back to money and people in power. Basically, it's a place just like everywhere else. Even with all of this, the people are worth getting to know. They all have their stories and voices to share, all of them unique and deep and yes, there's still some xenophobia, but remembering most of these people haven't been outside Korean ground to see and experience different cultures and people helps soften most hurt feelings (and egos).
