Instructions:

- Leave a tail approx. 6 times the length of your desired cord, and make a slip knot.
- Chain 2.
- Single crochet into first chain (second ch from hook)
- Turn. Drop working yarn and pick up the tail which will become the new working yarn
- Insert hook into second chain yarn over and pull through all loops on hook.
- Turn, drop working yarn and pick up the other end.
- Insert hook into side loop closest to the hook, yarn over and pull through all loops.
- Repeat last two steps until the cord is the desired length

It would have been helpful to see a couple more stitches at the slower speed before speeding up. Is this cord useful for purse handles where stretching over time is not desirable? Or is it suited to ties used to close bags?
