I really have never had braids for more than six weeks. The itching becomes unbearable. The slip before detangling is very important. Thank you.

Thank you. When I wore braids. I would take them out after like 6 week. In my case I have to spray my hair with water EVERYDAY or the braids will break my hair. So, I do braids in the summer so it can air dry. Thank you for teaching folks that the longer they wear braids, it can cause issues. This also includes weaves.

Yeaaa… went four months. Shouldn’t have because my bonnets and scarves slide off with braids so the lint was horrendous

I don't know iw what type of fiber is used for synthetic hair for braids, but it literally rips my hair out. I thought maybe it was the technique, but I soon realized its the fake hair. I'm never getting braids again
