When you say order them online, how do you actually give the blood? Do you go somewhere or do they come to you? How does that work there?

Unfortunately we can’t order our own labs in NY.

You’ve got it good because A1c costs $39 + physician service fee of $6 if you don’t have a doctor referral.

All of these tests range from $11-$150 depending on inssurance etc. I know because i jave paid for them.

My drs won't order a test for my blood type. Its not on my records and if I have the same blood type as my mom then there is a chance my body will attack any pregnancy I have because my husband's blood isn't compatible with mine. But I can't find out!!!

If your doctor is not on board with ordering a test, the first step is to ask him or her why not. Some tests can be harmful due to the potential for false positives, wasted money, or false reassurance from a test that was not appropriate for the circumstances at hand.
