You have to feel how lucky we are to live in such a rich country and be in a position to help people less safe than we are. We take in far less than many poorer countries than us yet there are still some people that would rather not help foreigners for whatever reason they have made up in their own minds. Now we have a birth rate less than 2 per couple we need immigration to improve our economy. It isn't rocket science to know that vetting quickly and getting asylum seekers into paid work where taxes are paid can only be a good thing for the uk.
