This too has experienced some challenges over the years. When foreign tourist groups or immigrants started to arrive in more significant numbers farmers noticed that their business model was at risk.
These customers didn't necessarily understand what would be reasonable behaviour.
A bus load of tourists might think that they are free to eat all they can and leave without buying anything.
They also might not know what berries are ripe to be picked which ones should not be touched.
Farmers made some changes, which hopefully helped. This comes with additional costs, but is unavoidable, if your clients come from such diverse and different cultures and backgrounds.
These are fairly similar challenges that have been experienced with some foreign tourists not caring to understand or respect to have reasonable limits of the Everybody's Rights in Finland.
Additional information and advertising has helped, but that too comes with some cost.

BTW there is also pick-your-own farms for raspberries, blackberries, red/black currant, the bush variety of blueberries, gooseberry etc. And also juicing stations if you get a lot of fruit or berries from your own backyard garden.
