For me, its almost an out of body experience. I dont feel my body, but my thoughts are LOUD. Im hyper aware of my surroundings while at the same time not processing any information at all. The worst part is that I know I am Disassociating while I am doing it, and I have zero power to stop it. Its reflex and I want so badly to never do it. Its gotten better with therapy and managing stress, but it is still so difficult

When it was happening to me, I felt like I was just following myself as I did things. Watching over my own shoulder. Walking to the train for work and back after usually.
