This is what is playing in the back of his mind every time it gives him enough sanity to think back to this moment. How nice it would have been to have escaped from his fate, to just go back to normal life immediately. To be able to go and tell their mom that he loved them, any common thing we took for granted when we are young children full of simple joys and life. Jony probably would give anything to have gotten to step away from the computer that day before everything he had ever known would no longer be his own. Moments that hurt worse than any digital fusion or anything which he had experienced thus far, the thought he didn't need to end up this way.
