Not a paddle user but those two screws at the front look like a likely spot to add something that would partially squeeze the paddles together thus reducing the spacing on the contacts. Could use either the top or bottom screws but shouldn’t be too difficult. What do you think?

Mine is super sensitive and I find that I often bump it. Look at it and it sends. The spring was the first thing I was going to change. Spacing IS adjustable with an included wrench hidden inside the radio.
