You need to first fry the kataifi in butter in a pan then while it's still warm put the tahini and the pistachio in it, I think that might change the taste a bit 😊

About five years ago, there was a cake in Riyadh that was similar to the Dubai cake. It was called Kunafa Cheese Cake. It consisted of layers of chocolate cake, Kunafa, pistachio cake, a layer of pistachio cream, and a final layer of caramel. It was delicious🥹
Also another bakery was offering a pistachio cake covered in Nutella chocolate, but there was no Kunafa on it and it was delicious.
I think pistachios and chocolate go well together.🤷🏻
