Danchan is not just for cutting through the tape. That blade saws through the cardboard itself super easily (and with very little risk of cutting yourself). It's great if you need to cut a lot of cardboard

I have a feeling one of these was specifically developed NOT to damage the figurine boxes underneath the cardboard.

Danchan is the best hands down. I got one as a gift, and then gave it as a gift to everyone I know and ppl always report back "I use this all the time now".

I bought a set of three of that yellow handle one and it’s magic, can cut handles in cardboard boxes, cut them down in squares to burn… I even keep one in my kitchen and uses it all the time

A milwaukee fastback with a pack of replacement blades will forever be my favorite knife to use for pretty much everything.
And it has a screwdriver and a bottle opener which is nice.

That "Danchan" one I've had few a few years now. I bought a set of 3, expecting to go through them like you do regular box cutters. However, I'm still using the first one, with the other two unused after about 3 years and 100's of boxes. It works brilliantly for cutting up carboard boxes, and acts like a little handheld saw.

People who actually need to cut up a lot of boxes just use a regular knife because these overbearing safety features make the process a total hassle.

It’s a small blade, not a nuclear warhead.

I got the Danchan years ago. It's the best buy ever!!!!! Also, that one with scissors is pretty neat. As well as the smaller one to cut the letter. Thats pretty cool.

I own the Danchan, easily cuts thick, heavy-duty boxes. I even ran the blade over with a hand pallet lift, scraping it a bit and still cuts just as good as it did when I first used it.
