True!! And my grandparents (silent generation) never acknowledge my depression, trauma, they even get angry when I talk about negative feelings & they tell me to just get over it/move on/let it behind me...they did that with their war trauma and live in a rainbow lala land ever since, excluding every negativity from their life/dont want to deal with it or see it including my violent narc stepmother, who abused me for years...they even praised her as a wonderful woman... so delusional. Me as a millenial and only child I feel like everyone projected their burden onto me...I'm glad I'm still alive, because some things were too heavy ..I'm no contact with my family, who abuse & dont support or respect me and my situation... I do the long healing work now ..

I would say the Boomers are more like."wait,.. aaa, what??? My growing up years were traumatic? Wow get me some help". My parent generation before me (1930s - 45)however are the deniers and dont want to talk about it. That is my experience.
