I have had Cane Corsos and other mastiffs for almost 20 years! And they are the most independently thinking & confident breeds in my opinion ❤

As someone who owns a Belgian Malinois (who's currently 11 months old) can confirm. Herding breeds in general are not very confident dogs out of the box. Although I'm pretty sure he's hit his second fear period now, which is helping nothing at all.

I don't trust guard dogs like those. I hear stories about those kinds of dogs turning on their owners. What makes a dog turn anyways??

I love the hound breeds. Most say stubborn but every time not disappointed when I spend time training I don’t find them stubborn I find them confident and due to social nature so willing to want to please!
