About the Master needing Luxu. After playing kh3 and looking at his convo with young nort. Master himself said that Nort would outgrow the black coat if he wasnt afraid of darkness. We see that future nort even though he had a great control over himself ended up privy to the effects of darkness. Yellow eyes pointy ears. I think he went through the trouble of appointing luxu to avoid the issue of possessing someone since thats a darkness ability. I think hes keeping himself as pure as he can from darkness, which is why he wears the coat. Whatever it is I think its not possession.

I think he explains in in the khux finale. Luxu's just half his bridge to any time he wants. Thr scary kiddo and the scary key make up his two way door using the neat loophole Maleficent also uses to return.

One needs a heart to traverse through as the memories create a new body in the travels. All the Master is required to have is a heart, which based on his statement about not traveling alone, he's had the entire time.
A form after that would be required with the full intent of goading someone to strike him down, as such would also be required to destroy all Darknesses.
The original species of both Light and Darkness had hearts going by MoM's story, meaning he very well could be the last of his kind for either species.

I still think Yozora and the “masters eye” has something to do with it all. Maybe Yozora digitized himself or created split digital timelines. Which could be why Ansem (DiZ) was trying to digitize in KH2. And digitizing himself is how he’s lived so long and been able to watch the matching timeline, and how he knows Sora. We can never guess with how crazy this timeline has been

I've always thought that similar to the being called Darkness. The master of master is just pure light as in his form is just light in the shape of a person. Hence, why he can't take off his coat.
