I’m not going to overreact to the Game 3 OT Loss but Berube needs to give some consideration to whether Joseph Woll is the guy to lead this team past the Panthers. His .867 Playoffs Sv% ranks 22/26 and his GAA of 3.99 is 24th. Woll has allowed 11 goals in less than 9 periods. Matt Murray is waiting in the wings. He had a great year in the AHL posting a 1.72 GAA and .934 Sv%. He is clearly now fully he covered from bilateral hip surgery and has 2 SC on his resume. Murray is only 30 years old so it not like he’s some old grey beard. He didn’t back up last night because according to Berube he was ill but I would imagine that he is chomping at the bit to get in between the pipes. This guy has proven that he can handle playoff pressure.
