I had one of the original ruger predator rifles in 223 rem. 500 metres no problem with handloaded 75 gn ELDs. The only reason i sold it was because of the feed issues from the old rotary mags. I wanted to put an MDT TAC stock on it but couldnt find AICS pattern mags in Canada for the life of me. I have lots of AR mags but they didnt come out with that design until later.

Sir, When you're on a budget buy one carry and one long gun to practice and run drills. Then save your money until you can buy KA or LMT AR. Accuracy International long gun with a U.S. optic. Stop buying "Average Joe" platforms. You know you would experience true joy when shooting. That is just my opinion....
