I once had a pharmacy assistant try to discreetly let me know which way to insert the suppositories as for some reason it had shown up on their system that this was the first time I was getting this medicine. I didn't have the heart to tell her I already knew this and it wasn't my first time using that particular medication nor was it the first time I have gotten it by prescription from there, I guess their system resets the notice about first-time usage after you haven't gotten that mediciation for a few years.
It was very sweet of the assistant, but it honestly was not that embarrassing to me, I'm unbothered enough that I'd even ask about haemarrhoid care items like any other item if I really needed to 😂
My suppositories did not have as fun a name as Alex's though
