YTA. You definitely should have made your daughter apologize and should have explained to her why thatโs not something we say to people bc itโs rude. My brother is 7, close in age to your daughter, and he NEVER says stuff like this to a person. I understand that your daughter isnโt used to baby talk, but that doesnโt mean she can be a brat. Honestly this is a reflection of the things you say around her and your parenting. Thatโs my opinion, no one has to agree with it. ๐คทโโ

Nta, baby talk is harmful for kids development so Iโm happy OP doesnโt use it. Even so the kid didnโt do anything wrong as sheโs 6. Who uses baby talk like that on a 6 year old. The kids was rightfully confused.
