Always enjoy your videos and music Carl! My current live rig is all seperate small pedals. Pretty simple and compact with Boss RC 500, Compressor, Delay, Overdrive, OC3 octave, Wah, Auto wah, LR Baggs Venue and Taylor Acoustic. It sure is a tough decision. I have a multi effect unit also but prefer the simple easy tweaks on the fly at gigs with seperate Pedals, and the tone is wonderful . I'm also in the process of messing with loopy pro and a Nektar Pacer foot controller at home. Going to learn more with this rig at home over the winter and see where it takes me. All part of the fun adventure!

Definitely individual pedals. It can take up a lot of room, but it allows for a more customized tone/sound and on the fly manipulation.

I’m torn. Play six days a week April to November. Some days I bring a Line 6 multi effects others I use the pedalboard with all the individual analog pedals. I tend to like the pedals better because there’s more on the fly control.

Like yourself I go for a mixture, the Hx fx is killer for routing and stacking effects but i also favour analog drives and boosts where possible

New school. Fractal, audio stuff. Oddly enough, though, most of the effects I use our old ones inside the Fractal. Ha ha.

I'm leaning more and more towards the multi-fx. Even thinking about getting rid of my single boss pedals just to use the HXFX. I don't like the sound as much, but the convenience is unmatched

I run a bunch of analog pedals into my RC600 so it’s kinda a bit of both 😆

Finally got an HX stomp and immediately sold my cloudburst, LR baggs session DI, OC-5, tuner, and man the timeline is just barely holding on to its real estate!

It depends on the circumstances. If I’m going to a blues jam, I’m taking my Princeton reverb amp and my individual effect pedal board. For a lower key show, I like taking my pod go. It gets a good enough tone and I take way less gear with me. I prefer the sound of a cranked amp but convenience kinda wins for the multi effects. My next buy might be a bigger amp modeler. The pod go was what I can afford at the moment.
