#Glögg #mulledwine #holidayrecipes Glögg is a type of mulled wine that originated in Sweden. It’s popular during the winter, especially around the holidays!
Ingredients:
750 ml non-alcoholic red wine or dark red juice such as red currant
15 g fresh ginger, thinly sliced
1/2 orange, sliced
2 cinnamon sticks
1 tsp cardamom seeds
10 cloves
1/2 granulated sugar
Raisins and almonds, for serving
Instructions:
Pour the wine or juice into a pot and add ginger, orange peel, spices, and sugar.
Bring to a boil, then remove the pot from the heat and let it steep for about 5-6 hours.
Serve with raisins and almonds.

finnish here, only difference here is that we usually drink it from normal or large glasses (also if it's an adult's party, we often spike it with vodka)
