GM still denying that they have a problem with lifters. And trying to charge customers, without the powertrain warranty $5000, for just 1 lifter. GM should face the fact that is a safety concern. A recall should be made.

Plug in a Ranger Solution Chip in the port under the dash and it keeps it in 8cyl.mode all the time ,, best $238 ,I've spent ,, been in 2 1/2 years trouble free...

Delete them, gain fuel mileage, stop burning oil... guarantee they do fuck all for emissions.

Two days ago, I looked at all of the part stores for an AC Delco lifter. There were none anywhere, even to order. There were also no off brand ones. I did decide to check the local Chevy dealership, and they had 11 in stock. They were $78 apiece.

If I have to go that far into my engine I am going to delete my whole dod system. I know it is a thousand $for a kit but then u are done.

shouldn't you be doing the DOD delete? I am about ready to do it on my 09 Silverado , has 127k original miles. very clean truck. it's just starting to give a little bit of lifter tap.
