Akihiko Yoshida ( 吉田 明彦 ) is an artist with a distinct style, has a large amount of war driven game titles under his belt and he inspired many artist throughout the industry. He illustrated games such as, tactics ogre, final fantasy, bravely default and Nier, art books which were all published in the united states/north-America.

About BD and Bravely Second:
Bravely Default Flying Fairy is a game that revolutionized the turn-based combat system, providing a high-risk, high-reward experience. The story follows Tiz, a shepherd who embarks on a journey to find his brother and other survivors after a catastrophic event. He meets Agnes, the vestal of the wind crystal, and Airy, her fairy guide. Together, they face forces from the hostile Duchy of Eternia, who aim to prevent Agnes from awakening the crystals. Along the way, they team up with adventurer Ringabel and Edea, a former Eterian soldier. The game features excellent character designs from Akhiko Yoshida, who uses a range of styles from chibi to realistic proportions. Despite the deformed concept art, the characters have a great aesthetic vibe with unique dark tones and dramatic coloring style. Boss designs were created by different artists on the team, and promotional illustrations were made by others. The next entry in the series, Bravely Second End Layer, features designs for Yew and Magnolia, created by Yoshida and Tomoya Asano. Despite limited character design changes, the game has an increased contrast in works and experiments with painted color palettes. Other artists such as Naoki Ikushima and Nao Mitaka have done excellent jobs replicating Yoshida's chibi designs.
