He was the best CEO for Dodge so far. One day one day.

Oh Stellantis, you never fail to disappoint me.

Hopefully GM is smart enough to open a position up for Tim. A revived Pontiac would be a good start.

Throwing turbos on sewing machine engines will prove disastrous.

How’s about an aluminum 392 with direct injection, 500hp, you could still use a twin turbo 6 with 400hp, but let those customers who want V8s buy them.

Meanwhile Ford and GM hold on to their beloved V-8’s. It’s all a bunch of BS.. Mr. Tavares knows he screwed up!! This is a huge mistake! A costly one too!

The problem is they needed a new Hemi. GM is on its 3rd modern small block since 97 and developing a 4th. Ford is on its 3rd gen Coyote and made a new pushrod V8 for HD trucks. Ram/Dodge haven't done squat.

smaller engine... more HP = less durability... that 3 L is gonna fall apart. Just like the 2L turbo chevy engine is doing.

Would have loved an aluminum block base Hemi with all the high torque tricks in the book with a lightened chassis on the new body style that would compare with the current V6 in fuel mileage. Thats how you move car sales. Over built and under stressed engines with minimal electronics and extras that plague modern engines.

Can’t believe I’m no longer a Mopar or no car guy, I still have my Ram 1500 HEMI and waned to get my hands on a charger Scatpack as my second car but the prices are still ridiculous so I got me a 2024 Acura Integra Aspec Tech and I love it and at the same time I get so mad 😡 about everything Tavares did to the brand and that reminds me why I did a good choice going with Acur

What about selling crate Hemis and designing the production car ECUs to support the hemi as well as the hurricanes? Maybe a dealer flash? This should be baked into the firmware or possibly an entire new firmware that can be flashed to the hurricane's ECU. Would this impact them concerning EPA credits? I would think them not offering this at time of sale, it would not. Most people would not do this conversion, but enough would to be profitable. Many people buy the hemi crate engines now and drop them in street Challengers.

The Hemi should stay with Ram and a couple of new V8s, one based on the F154 (Mopar version of the original Blackwing V8TT) and one based on the Pentastar, should take it's place for the SUVs and sedans.

From the day Stellantis said they were giving 10 years for all the divisions to be successful, I thought Chrysler line is doomed (they already were at this time) and they should have pivoted to 100% electric vehicles and components. They could have supplied EV components/platforms to the others and possibly try to sell some EVs under the Chrysler name as well. Chrysler division could have went all in and hopefully developed to a point where they wouldn't need to buy so many credits. Think that ship has sailed now.

Well, dodge, it was nice having you while we did. Without the hemi, y’all literally only have the Cummins in the medium duty left, everything else may as well be junk.

V8 with multiple displacement only runs on 6 cylinders ..what's the difference

If efficiency was the focus Dodge could have built a all aluminum smaller displacement DOHC turbo V8 like 3.0L and had the same efficiency and as much TQ maybe more but yet kept the V8 lovers happy and still be able to have a cool exhaust note not the nasty I6 engines sound.
