Also, if you want to get rid of the pop caused by the attack of the compressor you can put an envelope follower on the source sound and link it to the gain on a utility on sound you want to duck, just make sure the setting at the top of the envelope follower is set to 50/0

You can also use the eq fun toon in your compressors sidechain to scope in on one particular frequency which helps! Now I honestly prefer some type of volume shaping plug-in becuase you can manually shape the curve you want. I use shaper in Ableton but a lot of people use lfo tool or shaper box
