Ravan wasn't truly evil. But as great as he was, his karma was part of the story as an example of who he really was. It's much deeper than simply good and bad. He did many good and bad actions. Vishnu himself coming to handle him wasn't simply about stopping evil. He had to answer to Vishnu for his atrocities, despite his great deeds. It's a great insight into Dharma. 🙏
