Hey friends! Hope this finds you all in fine form. Today's short is a taste of classic rock, Canuck style! Trooper from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and their second album, "Two For The Show" featuring one of many hits and mainstays on Canadian radio airwaves to this day. The track featured here, jack of all trades Stan and Jerry the garbage man, aka "The Boys In The Bright White Sports Car" 😉😊 (couldn't somebody suggest a shorter title?! i.e. The Boys! Lol!) is one of several minor hits they would have from this lp, the others being Santa Maria amd the title track...to my memory. I was only 8 when this came out in 1976, but thanks to older siblings, it got regular rotation in our home. Thankfully! I enjoy the entire album actually, as I do all of their discography.

One of a few Canadian bands I've had the pleasure to see live in a small venue, where imho, most bands really shine! And these guys were no exception. Incredible live imho in fact. Anyway. Hope you enjoy this snippet. If you've never heard of them, or you have but perhaps only a song here and there, check 'em out. They're a lot of fun and great party tunes. Again, imho.
