The AMD GPU naming system is very intuitive since the launch of RDNA.

The first digit is the generation, next digit is the skew, the digit after is 0 or 5 to represent being of the original skew or of a future upgrade to the skew, and the next digit is a 0 because AMD internal policy likes using 4 digit product numbers across all their consumer grade products.

Following the number, there either is or isn’t “xt”, which just tells you whether or not it is a higher performance version of the base card or not, with features such as extra ram, extra active cores, etc. while maintaining the same base architecture. There is also “xtx”, which is reserved for the top of the consumer GPU lineup.

It is literally not any different than nvidia who uses the first digit to determine the generation, third digit to determine the skew (except for the 1650 and that generation of cards which made zero sense), and “ti” to note if it is a performance version.
