Im in the same boat as him just i actually do do the work to get to know people, how theyre feeling, offer them rides, like any good friends would do, but when i ask from some help in return, radio silence. Ive always been the one to initiate a conversation first yet never have people reach out. Its not like im reserved and want people to do the work for me, i put myself out there (not anymore cause whats the point in trying when it doesn't even work). I genuinely try but noone ever genuinely tries with me.

I did that I felt my friendship was one sided and you guess it was it’s been 6 years , I’ve deleted all my social media and yeah I realised I don’t need friends
