I grew in hawaii and have so many memories there and there was nothing like getting a plate lunch when youre hot and super hungry after swimming at the beach. Im gonna make this mac salad :) i like to mix in the cabbage and rice too :)

I had everything to make this today and this is my favorite Mac salad recipe now!! Iāve tried other recipes and they didnāt taste quite right, but this one reminds me of the one from the Hawaiian bbq places!

I love Follow Your Heart's vegan mayo but it does get a bit runny. I like to add a little plain hummus to thicken.

might i suggest a big dollop of dijon mustard in that sauce? it goes a long way and can give some much needed funk to the dish
