They messed this up with the secret classic Doom levels in Doom 2016. In the original Doom, 2D items would not face directly at the player, but rather face the opposite of way the player is facing so they always look flat and normal from the view of the camera, but in Doom 2016 in the the secret classic levels, the 2D objects face directly at the player and they look so bad, items in the corner of the screen face in towards the player and if you walk over items and look down, you can see the edge of them until they flip upside down
