Yeah nah. With holidays and 4 different cards. This is super scammy. Plus if they want things and their orders are getting canceled but they aren’t breaking them up into smaller amounts it’s just massive red flags. I understand some people buying extra of the glosses to try and get the special charms, but this is beyond nuts.

Hiya! I work for an ecommerce company in Support, I see fraudulent orders like this all the time and I have some pointers! The fraud analysis tool will usually tell you some big giveaways with orders like this, most notably mismatching IP addresses or shipping and billing info that doesn't match. If you're sure you want to ship the order, be sure to contact the customer and conform the order. Screenshot all of your communication with the customer in the event they do initiate a chargeback so that you have proof to submit to the customer's bank. However, my best advice would be to cancel this order as the details you've described and have shown on screen align with common behaviour seen in fraudulent orders. Stay safe out there and happy selling! 🚀

Multiple credit cards is a HUGE red flag! 🚩 Try contacting the buyer to feel them out, but if it doesn't pass the "sniff test" and the thing still seems fishy, apologize to them but cancel the order. Yes, it could be a group order somewhere, but I would not put a 3k risk on my business.
Good luck and be safe!🙏

I would honestly reach out to the person ordering the products at whatever email they provided. Let them know your concern and that you just want to make sure it is legitimate because it is such an expensive order. I would let them know that you need to verify the transaction by calling their bank. The bank will know if it’s fraudulent or not. The bank could also contact the person if it is fraudulent. I would wait about a week for a response. If they are legitimate, I’m sure they would appreciate you going above and beyond anyway. If you don’t get a response I would just cancel the order. You could then email them again stating that because you did not get a response you didn’t feel comfortable fulfilling such a large order because of the risk of fraud. It honestly seems sketchy to me. The 4 different card thing screams fraud. It sucks that people try to scam small businesses. Go scam large corporations if you can’t help but be a thief at the very least.

Girl, I mean this with SO much love, what do you MEAN you don't know what to do?? You don't need to worry about being the bad guy when you're protecting yourself. Reject the order. You KNOW it's a sham. You don't need to feel bad about it or agonize over if it's actually a real person with thousands of dollars to spend on lipgloss. You don't need to give them the benefit of the doubt.
Reject the order, report/block the customer if you can
