I donβt see how people think putting these pans in these heavy duty rust removal chemicals will not impregnate the iron to some degree and leach out into the food. Why not just hit it with some sandpaper it will smooth the surface which will make it more stick resistant and remove any surface level rust.

Ooooh so thats whats wrong with me too C.I.Chris. With my age ive rusted & pitted. Difference i spin a lil & wobble. KMSLAFFFIN. Those lil ol biddy flaws are expected on something so old & grand. Ppl actually in 09 bought em with a purpose of cooking not collecting. I think-KNOW its a gem. A biggggg congratulations to you. You're BETTER THAN BLESSED on that find.
