This was in my top favorite heritage units.... the green and white reminiscent of the ex-Southern Railway, which I am not old enough to remember, but whose former trackage I have enjoyed spotting trains on for two decades.

Southern was one of my top 5 favs heritage units. It has recently gotten to Altoona or repairs so that a win! But still it's sad to see it like this. The horn was awesome. š„ŗšš„ŗš. FYI that second train you shot with southern in it there was a red cause container,

It's hard to imagine that we lost another heritage unit like other companies. The SOU heritage may be one of the most coolest units on the roster. If they do rebuild it they should put the Southern Cresent tag on the corner of the cab and put a P5, Narrow font K5LLA or an M5.
Wonder how those would sound..

Call me crazy, but if they do fix it I think they should repaint it in the tuxedo scheme and put a P5 on it.
