What I loved about Black Ops 2 when it comes to factions, is that the factions were based on what map you were on. Middle Eastern maps would feature Eastern European teams, etc

Doesn't Cold War factions count? Like there's the main two factions, Nato vs. Warsaw. But, the subfaction changes depending on the maps while having different game announcers.

Seals vs Mercs, you have the green combat shirt and tactical orange stripe pants, and seals have the gray gear.

I’ve been saying it since AW (even tho ghosts was the first to do this). Factions made the game far more enjoyable with variety, the starting music often made you feel like a bad ass in its own unique way, and the callouts were also unique. Who can forget the infamous mw2 ac-130 voice lines? 💀

Of all the things that made Vanguard the worst COD for me, it was the fact that they called the teams “My Team” and “Enemy Team”
