I think some of the Honda dealerships are partly to be blamed here. We bought a 24 Honda CRV, when we asked about the maintenance schedule we are told not to worry about it since the βcarβ will tell us when it needed an oil change. Sooo.. maybe this customer was also told by the dealer not to worry about it and the car never indicated that it needed an oil change.π

I have owned Hondas since the early 1980 models and countless times neglected oil changes and those engines ran like a tank except for the body it fell apart because of rust.
These NEW Hondas are very poorly built engines, transmission and suspension components also poorly designed.

Nobody told me I had to do oil changes, no one told me to read the onwers manual. Lets spend 30k plus on a product and do zero upkeep.
