I still say Bare Minerals have the best powder foundations! 👌🏽👌🏽 ive been in love ever since i ran a half marathon 10 years ago wearing their powder foundation and mineral veil and my makeup looked the same when i finished. It was a very hot day, plus loads of sweating too! I think the longevity is better due to the mineral base perhaps.
I'm happy that powder foundations are coming back into style again so more people can discover their amazing-ness!

i DEFINITELY recommend using a brush with powder foundations over a sponge. I also recommend really taking your time to buff it in (like ~1 minute even), and misting it with a hydrating spray on top. I have no trouble putting cream concealer on top once I feel like I've had the powder pigment really meld into the skin :)

The finish of that powder foundation is impressive, on camera it is EXTREMELY blurring! I bet it would be amazing to integrate it into wedding/event make-up...anywhere you'll be taking a lot of photos. I used to use MAC's Studio Fix for that; it was my fave, when used lightly, but MAC discontinued my shade☹

I use a bigger brush for my powder foundation, still something with a mid density (not too dense but not too floppy). I press my brush into the powder and twist left to right once and then swirl my brush with the product on it on the mirror to work the product into the bristles more and then swirl it onto my face in a buffing motion. If I need more coverage in certain areas I use the a velvet sponge as it packs on more product

My tip for powder foundation is to get it on the brush, turn the brush up and tap it down into the fibres a bit then brush it on my face. Ive found with all the powders ive tried over the years that that technique works best for me. It looks amazing on you 😍
