Your perspective can become different, if you're more than a decade in your career, since it might start to feel that some changes would keep it more interesting or rewarding.
How long it takes for a person to reach that stage depends on industry, your roles, rate of internal changes, personality, company culture - how it motivates workforce - but also can depend on outside factors.
If you don't see other opportunities for you, you're not so likely to think about them. And if you're the one driving change in your own environment, then you might be so attached to it that you don't want to trade it to something else, perhaps less independent role.

As an American, we are forced to changed employers every 3 years or so, or we risk watching new employees come in with a starting wage that equals our own.
Employers want to give raises as little as possible, but to be competitive on the hiring market they have to keep raising the starter wages. I don't know Finland too well, but I wouldn't be surprised if they avoid this cycle with stronger unions and maybe a culture of cultivating long term employees 🤷

At the end of the last millennium and even in the beginning of this, it was common in Finland at least in some professional roles to think that in order to maximize your salary, you had to jump to new opportunities within 5 years and often even more often. Doing that enabled you to test your market value and get best results.
However, some people didn't like that and the company's internal changes also might give similar opportunities. Many people didn't really look for opportunities outside their company for various individual reasons.
