During each project participants learn about local culture, tradition, folklore, characteristic of the local community or simply get to know the area and the most interesting monuments. Our project was no different. Participants took part in an orienteering game, competing in mixed teams and completing tasks that allowed them to discover the most interesting places in Zakopane. The icing on the cake was a visit to the Tatra Cultural Center „Jutrzenka” and a tour guided by the center’s director himself. It was an extraordinary adventure related also to the main topic of our project.

„Visual AIDs in Youth Work” is an international training course for youth workers, which our Association organized in Poland at the end of November 2023. Representatives of youth organizations from Romania, Bulgaria, Italy, Spain, Greece, Slovakia and Lithuania took part in the project. The main topic of the training course was to improve competences related to the preparation and use of visual materials during workshops conducted by our participants in their local work. We not only learned to work with traditional materials such as flipcharts, graphic markers and outliners, but also used digital tools such as graphic tablets and Adobe Illustrator software.

We implemented the project thanks to funding from the Erasmus+ program and, importantly, it is the first in a series of our projects that we will implement as an organization accredited in the Youth sector of Erasmus+ programme.
