Based on research that I found on Google:
Some deaf people oppose cochlear implants due to cultural, philosophical, and practical concerns. Many in the Deaf community view deafness as a cultural identity and language, not a disability to be "fixed." They worry about the potential loss of Deaf culture, language, and community if people choose to pursue cochlear implants. Additionally, some worry about the potential for implants to simplify sound, making it less nuanced and question the effectiveness and risks associated with the procedure, especially in children.
