Bought the baseline Tesla model 3 2023 RWD, LFP BATTERY 272 miles fully charged(100% CHARGE everyday without affecting degradation). Total $34,300 with $7,500 tax credit. Hyundai can't beat that standard with it's base mod. It's even cheaper in California depending on your county and tax incentives. Manufacture say 0 to 60 in 5.8sec. Real world is 5.1 sec. Tesla's been doing this for more than a decade. It is Hyundai that needs to catch up not the other way around. I suggest you go to both Tesla and Hyundai for a test drive comparison. Oh by the way the baseline mod 3 is fully loaded.....heated seats and everything.

Tesla hands down. I'm currently renting an Ioniq 5 and the biggest issue I'm having is being able to charge at a Super Charging station. Unless Hyundai provides an adapter with the newer Ioniq 6 charging takes forever. Not to mention the lack of entertainment to kill the time when charging. But there's room for improvement.

I would easily go with Hyundai over Tesla. But its not for any reason in this video. Tesla is way better with infotainment and its embarrassing that this reviewer even mention it as a contender. No the real reasons are :
1. Adaptive regenerative breaking, with pedals behind the wheel
2. V2L - 220/110V outlet port
3. Support with Openpilot.
4. Much higher quality interior
5. Round steering wheel. (joke)

1. Hyundai is more expensive. In California Tesla m3 inventory is selling for $37-38k. 2. Hyundai is not eligible for federal tax credit $7500 in the US. Tesla is eligible. 3. For 42k the range is 240 miles (vs 270 on Tesla). 145hp only. 4. Heated rear seats in tesla on all trims 5. Hyundai has cloth seats for 42k 6. Supercharger network 7. Hyundai has the same 18 inch wheels on base trim for $42k. Cant beat tesla m3 at this price point with current tax credits in the US. Comparing the same trims with its prices would be more appropriate.
