This is how people make a species invasive and make other species that try to compete with them become endangered. Almost any animal can become invasive if you put too many of them in one space, not only is doing this gonna cause many of them to start inbreeding which will cause massive genetic issues but it will also make them prone to spreading diseases to other species. I know people do this stuff because they think it's harmless or do it for clout but i emplore you not to do this as that is how invasive species problems start.
Let me clarify again: raising hundreds possibly thousands of toads to adulthood and releasing them all in one area will make them invasive no matter the species they are ,as most of the babies are supposed to die before adulthood hence why so many eggs are laid and left alone by the parents. Out of every 1,000 eggs at least 1-5 toads make it to adulthood. With him taking care of them that number can go from 1-5 toads up to 25-50 toads as he is caring for all their needs as he wouldn't neglect them since that would be animal abuse and he said he would care for them for 14 weeks.
