Was shocked to see u in a hospital bed! Glad you will give up the bike. It doesn’t mean you’ve gotten old, just that you’re more serious about your health. You have so much more to do with your life and our society needs you. Feel better soon.❤

Thank you for the Highlight.☺️

I’m so glad you’re ALIVE. So many don’t walk away from motorcycle accidents, it’s time to stop, yes.

We all make assumptions of risk choices. On my Harley, I knew that I might die, and that was the risk I was willing to take. Then I started to think about how I wanted to live, and the thought of possibly being permanently incapacitated for another 20-30 years was not something I wanted to risk, so my bike got sold. I miss it, but I’m happy to be alive! I wish you well.

Yes, time to retire the motorcycle keys. We gave ours up, to many distracted drivers. I hope you recover quickly!!

I feel your pain, man. Tomorrow will make 3 weeks since I cut two of my fingers off of my dominant hand. And I have never felt more helpless than knowing my right arm will be completely useless for at least another month. So, consider yourself lucky if you're not missing any body parts. Because I definitely am. And it's clear to me to see that I'll never even be remotely close to the same as I was before this...

oh no! hope your arm heals well. also, there's no shame in not riding anymore if the risks seem too high.

I used to ride, I loved it so much!! Outside of my son it was the best thing my ex gave me/taught me….. after going my residency and now working as an intensivist I’ve seen too many people lose their lives or have some gnarly injuries- no fault of their own but all the other stupid drivers around. Telling one family that their loved one didn’t make it was enough for me to be done. Glad you’re ok!❤

I’m so glad that you are OK enough to come on here and tell us that you got diverted from your plans in a most painful and uncomfortable way.

I hope you are soon well and recover quickly from your injury . I’m old enough to be your mother and I’m a big fan of you not riding a motorcycle anymore. My son rides motorcycles and fast cars, and I know where it’s going to end in a terrifies me. Lots of love to you - take care.

I had a great friend who died 20 years ago in a motorcycle accident. I miss him everyday. Please give up the motorcycle. You mean a lot to the people in your life and your family and friends will never recover if they lose you. Take it from someone who has been through that hurt.

I hope you feel better soon.
My brothers still ride their motorcycles (age 50+)..but not alone (they go in groups). They still ride their dirt bikes, too.
I pray you have a speedy recovery.
Take care.

Not doing motorcycles doesn't mean you're old. Duh! If you were younger, you would've been hurt just as bad. That being said, I pray for your absolute complete recovery. I am so bummed for you!! Take it easy, fella!!😮😢❤🙏

I'm so glad you're physically ok! I was just thinking of you the other day, since you hadn't been in my feed. I hope you have a speedy recovery.

Wow Jesse!!! Don't get me started about the dangers of motorcycles... I worked as a speech therapist with patients who suffered from Traumatic Brain Injuries due to mostly motorcycle accidents!!! GET RID OF THAT MOTORCYCLE ASAP, NO ONE AT ANY AGE SHOULD BE RIDING ONE, UNLESS YOU WANT A DEATH SENTENCE, OR BE PARALYZED IN A WHEELCHAIR FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE IN A NURSING HOME!

My old man said he's write me out of his will, if I got a motorbike. Glad you're giving it up, and glad you're okay.

Everybody has to climb Fool's Mountain at least once. Just don't climb so high you can't get back down.

Motorcycle got the best 2/3. It wins, so yea. 😅 I agree with maybe playing shuffleboard instead!
It's ok not to get back on the horse, Cowboy! 🫶
