Fascinating. "Kloister" sounds very much like German "Kloster" what means Monastery. Some catholic aa well as protestant priests/pastors over here fixed mesusoth on the church-entry door during the nazi-dictatorship to show resistance. Not everyone of those brave men survived. I fixed a mesusah at my apartment door after October 7th 23 to show solidarity with the jewish nation. So, sometimes mesusoth of churchess are not so completely senseless. :)

Very interesting. I studied German for a few years, and understood most of that, not even as a fluent German speaker. Itโ€™s cool how mutually intelligible the two languages are.
