Here’s a list to help you get prepared!

💧Hydrate!
Did you know dehydration can cause early contractions but when in labor can slow things down.

🧘Move! (Prenatal Yoga is a great idea)
You want your pelvic floor and psoas supple and receptive.

🧳Pack your bag.
Make sure you have a copy of your birth plan in your bag so everyone is on the same page of your desired support.

🧘‍♂️Practice meditation.
Meditation is great for your nervous system. For labor to flow well, you don’t want to be in “fight or flight”. Meditation teaches you calm breathing and mental focus which settles your nervous system into the “rest and relax” state.

❤️Get on the ball!
Spend time on your birth ball to help your baby get engaged.

🙃Forward Leaning inversion.
The Forward Leaning Inversion is a staple in the @spinningbabies methodology. It uses gravity to allow the uterus to hang and help untwist ligaments of the lower uterus and make more space for baby to find a more optimal birthing position. It’s a great birth prep!
