I find this whole new purchasable thing to be kinda crazy especially after Pestily had a 1 on 1 with Nikita. A decent amount of that conversation was about clarity between the devs and players then they did this. Almost like a slap to the face

They lost a ton of money with Arena. Look at how much was put into marketing, booths, and tournaments. And it sucks. Giant blunder, now they release a 250 dollar edition thinking every EOD owner was brainwashed enough to buy it. They were wrong, now the game is in very real and very serious danger. Probably will be sold to another company soon.

I totally agree. If they thought Unheard Ed. was good than every EoD would have upgraded. But they say they can't give SP to EOD for server problems. That means they didn't believe in their own Unheard Ed.

What I don’t understand is why they didn’t just make an ultimate edition type of thing where eod got partially upgraded, but if you buy the full package you get some kind of collectors items, like 3 unique skins, maybe face tattoos or something, or other kinds of cosmetic items. The proven model for making money in a game like Tarkov is cosmetics, not completely shitting on your community with pay to win.
They are going to get wrecked with lawsuits now, whether they revert the changes or not, because I doubt they will refund, and if they revert the changes to unheard, the people who bought it can sue, and if they don’t, then the people who bought eod can sue. Or they can refund and revert which is pretty much the only way around a series of lawsuits now

Yeah, once the trust is gone I take my time and money elsewhere and I've supported this game since the beginning. I'm out, and most people I play with have also moved on. Good luck, BSG. You're gonna need it.

Bought EOD striaght out of the gates because I loved what I saw and wanted to support them. Got my kappa 7 times over the years and now they want more money from me to give me something that was promised in the first place. Im sadly done with it.

its pretty simple. EoD was the money maker, they f'd up by calling it a 'limited edition' to push early sales based on fomo. when the community pushed them to cut sales, they needed a replacement version, but if they cloned EoD, then everyone still would've called it a scam.

I totally agree, regardless of any pack... most of their LOYAL following will not believe anything they say any more.

If they're selling the co-op offline mode and actually expected people to buy and play it, they would NEED the server infrastructure, and more, they claim isn't running well enough to give EoD players the addition.

If anything downloadable is a DLC, (Content patches, bug fixes) than we´re actually good, that they don´t charge us for it

The fact none of this makes logical sense makes me think they’re in dire financial troubles under the hood and only seeking funds to keep the ship afloat before selling / abandoning the game. RIP EFT
