Fasa Renault made the Spanish cars locally and they had the 8TS as the Cool fast version with quad headlights like its French Gordini and R8S series. A business friend of my father gave me a ride in his red R8TS in Spain and I was very impressed, these were as cool as Mini Coopers in their day.

The R8 was/is a technical marvel and a piece of industrial genius.
Despite having the engine at the "wrong" end, it is allegedly a cousin of the Alfa 103 that died mysteriously under (dare I say it?) pressure from the Agnelli "family". Oops! I mentioned project 103... And have accidentally given you the topic for another Roadster Life video.
