Worked at pep boys for a couple years. Corporate thought it was a wise idea to keep us running every day of the year while upper management spent time with their families. One tech spoke up going “ if you’re going to spend time with your folks so can we” and then every other tech followed along. They knew they couldn’t fire all of us and then gave us the major holidays after a couple days of negotiation. Sadly they still work 7 days a week. But after I said I don’t work Sunday’s they looked for a reason to can me and I never looked back since.
