They make some lip pliers and use those you don't have to worry about getting your fingers cut up

If you hold them like this then you cant let go beacuse then your going to get cut so hold for ther life how much the fish moves, plus if the fish moves and you hold on then your hands will get a little bitt torn and bloody "muskie and Pike"

A warning for saltwater anglers: no not use this grip with snook, aka robalo. Their gill plates are so razor sharp that anglers need to check their leader and often retie after every fish. I know this doesn’t help most viewers of this channel, but ya never know.
