For the life of me I will never understand why Guardiola started Nunes on the wing - he literally wasn’t good enough for Liverpool to sign him when we desperately needed a midfielder in 22/23, and they had multiple alternatives in Grealish and Doku (who actually looked a bit of a threat, even with a Traore-esque lack of product, in the second half). And continuing to start Walker blows my mind - he is DONE. I finished that game thinking, “I don’t know for sure who’s going to win the league…but I’m sure Manchester City isn’t.”

I was at the game and something I noticed which surprised me was Haaland laughing and chatting with a few of our players during the game. I haven't watched the game back yet but I think there's already a clip of him chatting to Salah doing the rounds, him and Van Dijk were laughing and joking a few times, at one point am sure he said "you're ridiculous" meaning he was ridiculously good I assume! They just seem to have given up and lost focus. As people have been saying they are just not used to losing and don't seem to know how to deal with it, or just don't want to. It's very similar to 19/20 when we had the title won by January.
